I was trying to get machine work done on a 2.8 out of a 4 cylinder Colorado and no one wanted to touch it I’m guessing because it wasn’t a LS.  I spend weeks calling around until I found Chs. Where they took my project and acted like it was any other job and not something too small and not worth it for them. I had a cylinder head rebuilt the crank ground and the block decked and honed. I assembled it myself and have about 2000 miles in it and it’s running great so far. The owner took time to offer a lot of advice and answered any questions I had even though they are clearly very busy.
